I qualified with a Master’s degree in Clinical and Health Psychology in 2001 and have worked in a variety of settings both here and overseas.

I have training in many different approaches and will use the one most suited to the individual client. The approaches are evidence based and include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy that focuses on the relationship between our thoughts about particular situations and how our thoughts effect how we feel and impact our beliefs about ourselves and the world around us, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy to assist with mood regulation, and Interpersonal Therapy to enhance relationships with others.

My clients tell me they appreciate my ability to provide a different perspective on their situations and my ability to empathise with how they feel.                              I maintain confidentiality in a safe and completely non-judgemental setting.

I have extensive experience in the management and treatment of depression and anxiety, substance abuse, PTSD and crisis management, Family and Domestic Violence, childhood abuse, self-harm, legal issues and serious mental health conditions. I enjoy working with people of all ages from children through to the elderly and see individuals, couples and families. I am fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of both the Australian Psychological Society and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. I work with the Open Arms Counselling Service (formerly VVCS) Victims Services NSW, Workcover NSW and Medicare Australia.
